The wallpaper revolution has started without us noticing, and with these Google options, your Android phone will never look the same again

Customizing our Android phone involves changing a variety of system options, from the launcher to the notification area and quick settings, but there is little doubt that it is the background which is responsible for making the home screen look better. There are applications available for download, but Google recently gave this aspect a new twist.

Instead of searching the Internet or applications that help us find beautiful wallpapers, the search giant offers us two very different ways of their formationWhether with the emoji workshop or the cinematic background images, you will receive your very own personal copy.

Google finds a way to create unique wallpapers

First of all, it is important to know that these features are available in the Google Pixel mainly Google phones, but if you have a ROM with their features installed on your mobile phone, you can also access them regardless of the manufacturer.

To create a wallpaper with the emojis we want, we have the Emoji Workshop at our disposal, which we can access from the home screen. We keep our finger pressed and then simply tap on “Wallpaper and style”. This will take us to personalization, where after clicking on “More wallpapers” the first option will be «Emoji Workshop».

Once inside, we can create an infinite number of backgrounds. In the first section, “Emoji”, we choose up to a total of 14 emojisof our choice. If you go to the second tab, the possibilities expand to include different designs such as mosaics, batteries or drops. It is also possible to choose the size of the emojis.

Finally, we only have to choose a color from all the options offered. The latter is very important, especially if we combine it with the Theme icons that came in Android 12. Of course, it is still available in Android 14 and even in the betas of Android 15.

Cinema for wallpapers including your photos

Are you not convinced by the colorful backgrounds with emojis? Would you still prefer to use a photo of your pet or the one from your last trip? Okay, but with the second option we mentioned above it will look even better.

Again we have to click on an empty space on our home screen and go back to “Wallpaper and style” > “More wallpapers”. Later we will select our favorite image from “My photos”. And now comes the trick: when we are in the preview we have to press the button Symbol for artificial intelligence (the one with the flashes of light) to display the Cinema Wallpaper feature.

By turning the switch to the “On” position, our phone analyzes the image and adds the three-dimensional and moving effectthat will look great on you. Once you have it set up, simply lock and unlock it and admire how it looks even more attractive with this simple feature.

Since I started using it, I didn't feel the need to change the background image every now and then, as he had been doing for the past few months. Both options work for me to give my home screen a distinctive touch without having to download and install anything.
