Mount Trashmore Park: Shooting and police intervention reported at Virginia Beach Carnival

Another person wrote: “There are reports that a little girl was shot in the head at Mount Trashmore. It was at a carnival there.”

A third witness wrote: “I'm praying for the family that the child doesn't come home from the Mount Trashmore carnival tonight, shakes my head. It's so sad that the children and the woman had to see the girl like that, shakes my head.”

Another witness wrote: “Shots were fired at the Mount Trashmore Carnival. The entire Virginia Beach Police Department is there. I hope everyone is OK.”

Videos from the scene show a massive police presence at the site of the alleged shooting.
