Grandmother speaks out after video of her holding four of her grandchildren goes viral

The TikTok clip has already been viewed over 5 million times.

A grandmother from Texas is causing a stir in an adorable TikTok video post as she holds four of her grandchildren in her arms.

Sophie Camp shared the clip of her mother Amy Chizk with her daughter Winnie, her nieces Emery and Lucy and her nephew Ellias, accompanied by the trendy “Perfect, Perfect, Perfect” soundtrack.

Camp wrote in a text superimposed over the video: “POV [Point of view] Your daughters have given you four grandchildren in one month.” She also captioned the post: “My mom is truly living her dream.”

Chizk told “Good Morning America” that a few years ago she could not have imagined that today she would be holding her four grandchildren in her arms and enjoying every moment of their lives as newborns.

“It was really special. I said I really wanted to hold all four of them at once,” Chizk said. “I was a pediatric nurse for 19 years and I've held a lot of babies, but never four at once. So it was a pretty incredible experience, especially knowing they were my grandchildren.”

When their two daughters gathered in April, shortly after Camp welcomed their newborn girl, they took the opportunity to snap photos and videos, one of which went viral. The TikTok clip has already garnered over 5 million views since it was posted earlier this month.

“I think they were all fed and happy at the time and it was nice and warm, which helped a lot to keep them calm,” Chizk recalled. “The timing was just perfect, it couldn't have been better.”

The 54-year-old is now a grandmother of five children, including her eldest grandchild, who currently lives in Scotland with her son and daughter-in-law.

Chizk's middle child, daughter Sydney Durham, is mother to triplets Ellias, Emery and Lucy. According to Durham, the siblings were all born on March 3, which also happens to be National Triplet Day.

Then Sophie Camp, Chizk's youngest child, welcomed her daughter Winnie on April 6.

Now, says the grandmother, she is busy taking “photos” of the babies every day.

“I know you see changes in them every day. Every time you see them, they are different,” Chizk said.

Chizk said she encourages all other new parents and grandparents to enjoy the time with their newborns.

“Just love them every day and don't take them for granted,” she said. “Every day is different and they change so quickly. So love them for who they are now and don't wish them to grow bigger, because they will.”
