Selection information

The women's team championship consists of 49 teams in a knockout system. The individual championships include 32 singles players and 16 doubles teams.

Team: Teams will play a knockout tournament, with the first, second and third rounds played at unspecified locations. The quarterfinals, semifinals and finals will be played at a specified location. All matches will be played in a 3-6 format – three doubles matches with a pro set of eight games (with tiebreak at 7-7), no scoring, with each game worth one team point, and six singles matches, each worth one team point, will be played in a best-of-three format, no scoring. All matches will be played to a decision.

Individually: Unless the Men's and Women's Tennis Committees decide otherwise, all matches will be played in three sets. All matches will be scored without a serve and will be a seven-point tiebreak for a total of six games.
