Windows 11 Insider Beta Channel Build 22635.3646 (KB5037858) contains a number of bug fixes

Microsoft has released a new Windows 11 build for members of the Windows Insider program in the Beta Channel. The latest build number is 22635.3646, under KB5037858. This is a fairly small update with some unnamed general improvements and a list of bug fixes.

Microsoft's Brandon LeBlanc confirmed on his X account that no builds will be released to Windows Insider program members in the Dev or Canary channels this week.

• New! This update adds PC Manager to devices in China.
• This update fixes an issue that affects File Explorer. When you pin a folder located on a network share to Quick Access, it takes up to two minutes to launch. This occurs when you upgrade from Windows 11, version 21H2 to Windows 11, version 22H2.
• This update resolves an issue with TWAIN drivers that may stop responding when you use them in a virtual environment.
• This update fixes an issue that affects File Explorer. It stops responding when you swipe from an edge of the screen. This issue occurs after you disable edge swiping.
• This update fixes an issue that affects the display of a smart card icon. It does not appear during logon. This occurs when there are multiple certificates on the smart card.
• This update fixes an issue that affects a folder context menu. When you select the command to remove items, the command adds items instead. This occurs when a third-party service implements a sync feature.
• This update fixes an issue that affects a server after you remove it from a domain. The Get-LocalGroupMember cmdlet returns an exception. This occurs when the local groups contain domain members.
• This update affects the Antimalware Scan Interface (AMSI) AmsiUtil. It helps detect AMSI scan bypass. This update also fixes some long-term issues that expose your device to threats.
• This update fixes an issue with printers not working as expected when you use AppContainers or when you use them in a restricted environment.
• This update resolves an issue that affects the out-of-box experience (OOBE). It cannot be completed. This occurs when you enable the “Prevent use of security questions for local accounts” policy.
• This update resolves an issue affecting the Host Networking Service (HNS). When the service is restarted, load balancer policies are not restored correctly.

[Widgets]

• Windows Insiders in the Beta Channel who have the new widget entry point location on left-aligned taskbars may see the following known issues:
• Swiping to access widgets may not work if the taskbar is centered instead of left-aligned.
• Unpinning widgets from the taskbar may not work if the taskbar is centered instead of left-aligned.
• The widget panel is incorrectly positioned when Copilot is in side-by-side mode.
• Turning widgets on/off in the taskbar settings may refresh the taskbar.
