Teenage TikTok rapper Rylo Huncho accidentally shoots himself; social media video ends in deadly tragedy

In a social media moment gone wrong, 17-year-old American rapper Rylo Huncho fatally shot himself while filming a music video last week.

Huncho, known as a TikTok personality, accidentally killed himself when he pointed a gun at his head and eventually died from an “accidental self-inflicted gunshot wound.” According to the New York Post, police did not initially confirm the deceased teenager's name, but a social media video that made the rounds online showed the Suffolk-based rapper singing and dancing, showing off the gun in his hand.

Police found him dead in Suffolk, Virginia on Wednesday, May 15th. The dreaded video, posted to Huncho's Instagram story, shows him waving the weapon around and showing off the built-in green laser and flashlight.

Later in the clip, he turned off the safety on the gun and pointed it at his head. The aspiring rapper blurted out to the camera, “F**k y’all n****s,” and pulled the trigger. The explosion caught him as he disappeared from sight, his phone hitting the ground.

According to The Direct, his full name was Raleigh Freeman II. The unfortunate news caused further stir when one of his cousins ​​started a Gofundme in hopes of raising $15,000 for his grieving family. The link shows that Monica Savage and Diane Bryant organized the fundraiser titled “Support for Grieving Aunt After Tragic Loss.”

The post continued, “Hello, my aunt recently lost her 17-year-old son to a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.” Fundraiser organizers also reportedly confirmed that Huncho was an only son. Furthermore, his mother was a “single parent.” But she took care of her son as best she could.”

They also added, “The cause of death was suicide/accident, we are still trying to figure out why.”

One of Raleigh's friends, Twin Porter, was devastated by the news of his death, writing on Facebook: “And to get a text saying he died is heartbreaking and to hear what you all have said about Railey is wrong in every way.” Please God give his mother the strength to deal with the devastating pain she is going through.”

As of Tuesday, the teenage rapper has 28.3k followers on Instagram.
