Pakistani Influencer Attacked By Home-Kept Cheetah, Internet Reacts

It is not clear whether the influencer suffered any injuries.

Dogs and cats are a common sight in homes. The furry animals are having fun and several videos shared on social media have captured the pets' happiness. However, a cheetah in a home is an unusual occurrence. Recently, a video of a cheetah slapping a Lahore-based influencer went viral on the internet.

The clip was shared by Nouman Hassan on Instagram. The shocking video shows a cheetah sitting on a sofa between two men. When Mr. Hassa tries to pet the cheetah on his head and back, the big cat becomes excited and attacks him near his ear. It is unclear whether the influencer suffered any injuries. However, he can be seen walking away from the animal.

“Cheetah attack,” reads the caption of the post shared seven days ago. Since its release, the clip has garnered 2.3 million likes and 173 million views.

“The cheapest, ugliest, classless people in the world are those who keep WILD ANIMALS as pets. “Money can’t buy class or morality,” one user said.

Someone wrote: “He should be lucky he doesn't bite him after that.”

“Smiling but crying deep inside, walking away was the best option,” one person remarked.

“Finally Cheetah remembers what I am,” one user explained.

One Instagram user said: “Don’t keep wild animals as pets! You deserve to be free!”

“The incredible speed of this animal is unbelievable. If this cat had its claws it would have died instantly,” one user wrote.

Notably, Mr. Hassan also has lions in his private collection, which he acquired at an auction at the Lahore Safari Zoo in August last year. The zoo auctioned off a dozen lions and tigers to free up space and reduce meat costs. Mr Hassan had said at the time that he had bought “two to three lions”, adding that the auction was a good way to diversify the gene pool for private collectors who already owned a big cat.

Mr. Hassan and other owners of these big cats post their pictures and videos on social media and rent them out for films and photo shoots.
