Heart-shaped bags, lockets and more

Fossil is collaborating with Disney on a Valentine's Day collection that highlights one of the most famous cartoon couples: Mickey and Minnie Mouse.

The range launches on January 15 and includes watches, earrings, necklaces, wallets and other accessories featuring Romanesque images of the cartoon couple, packaged in red packaging.

Items in the collection include a locket necklace modeled after Minnie Mouse's head and finished with her signature bow. Other accessories included in the rollout include a heart-shaped shoulder bag depicting Minnie kissing Mickey.

The latest collection follows Fossil and Disney's first partnership in October for an exclusive collection of watches, jewelry and leather goods inspired by the iconic story of the Mickey Mouse character.

“With a shared core value of ingenuity and a rich history rooted in design, Disney and Fossil are kindred spirits,” Fossil Chief Brand Officer Melissa Lowenkron said in a statement in October. “Disney holds a special place in many people’s memories and in Fossil’s archives. We are excited to launch the first part of our long-term collaboration, look forward to sharing more in the coming months, and hope people enjoy collecting these unique and nostalgic pieces.”

The upcoming Valentine's Day collection also coincides with the 100th anniversary of Disney Animation Studios.

Disney has previously partnered with several other fashion and beauty brands to honor this feat. In September, the media company introduced its Tweezerman collection, inspired by Mickey and Minnie Mouse motifs.

The special edition Valentine's Day collection from Disney and Fossil will be available on January 15th at fossil.com.
