Emma Chamberlain and her role model start their relationship hard with the retro Valentine's Day photoshoot

Emma Chamberlain and Role Model are officially in their hard launch era (and just in time for Valentine's Day).

The social media sensation and rising pop star, whose real name is Tucker Pillsbury, made her magazine debut with GQ.

In their first-ever couples interview, accompanied by an aesthetically pleasing photoshoot, the two opened up about their three-year relationship, which was mostly kept offline.

“We have a completely unproblematic, safe, private — if we want to be private — relationship,” Pillsbury, 25, told the outlet. “We will never post photos and selfies of ourselves on a beach in Cabo.”

Chamberlain, 21, added: “There are parts of our relationship that will remain private forever and the things we keep sacred. But I don't think we need to remain secret anymore. It’s just like, I’m over it.” —.”

And they are. During their photo shoot, the two cuddle and hold hands in coordinated designer looks styled in a retro style.

In a series of snaps, the two meet in outfits with brown bottoms – Chamberlain in leggings and a button-down collared shirt over a long-sleeve T-shirt and Pillsbury in pants and a gray sweater with a collared top underneath.

Their cover is all about a homey atmosphere. The YouTube star sits on a kitchen counter dressed in a yellow top with fringe accents, plaid pants and loafers as the “Hello!” The singer wears a sweater vest look while cracking an egg in a pan.

According to the outlet, the couple's romance dates back to when Pillsbury slid into Chamberlain's DMs. After months of texting back and forth, they met up for a casual date night at Chamberlain's that the two thought wouldn't go any further.

“I couldn’t speak because I was shaking,” Chamberlain recalled. “I didn't want to be near him because I thought, 'He'll see that I'm shaking so I have to be far away,'” she added, noting that she didn't want to “disappoint” The singer.

“I thought we would never talk again,” Pillsbury admitted. “I almost cried on the way home. In my head I just thought, 'I did it. We're done, I have to move on.'”

Pillsbury's relationship with the newly appointed Lancôme ambassador also happens to be his first. “To be honest, I have always been sincerely against them. I can't express it enough,” he said, noting that he never thought he could “care for someone” and imagine “truly being in love.”

He added: “I never thought you could have someone you thought was your best friend.” And you want to sleep with them.

In addition to their dating lives, the two also manage their solo jobs. “We're just trying to be professional in our own careers,” noted Pillsbury, who teased Chamberlain as his girlfriend in his “neverletyougo” music video in March.

Meanwhile, Chamberlain has built an extensive resume of her own since she first launched YouTube in 2017.

She has 28 million followers on her social media platforms, who share her content – including her videos, “Anything is Possible” with Emma Chamberlain podcast as well as her frequent interview appearances on the Met Gala red carpet – and merch through her line of coffee and beverage accessories.
