Police arrest another intruder at Drake's Toronto mansion

May 10 (UPI) — Police were called to Toronto rapper Drake's mansion on Thursday to respond to a person attempting to gain entry to the property.

Toronto police said there was an “altercation” between the intruder and security guards on Thursday afternoon before officers arrived. The person was then taken to a hospital.

This was the third police-involved incident at Drake's home this week. Officers responded to another trespassing incident Wednesday, which is not being treated as a criminal matter due to the individual's mental health.

The unnamed person was arrested under the Ontario Mental Health Act, which allows police to refer a suspect to a doctor for evaluation if the person “appears to be suffering.” [a] Mental disorder.”

Unknown suspects shot and killed Drake's 48-year-old security guard outside his villa on Tuesday. The security guard was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The series of events comes amid his high-profile feud with Compton, California rapper Kendrick Lamar, in which the two have accused each other of assault and sexual abuse.

Lamar's latest dissident track, titled “Not Like Us,” features an image of Drake's mansion and the name of the street it's on. Lamar suggested in one of his songs that sex offenders lived in Drake's house.
