The Dallas Mavericks want to even the series in Game 2 against the OKC Thunder

The Mavericks are looking to bounce back from their Game 1 loss in their opening game of the Western Conference semifinals on Tuesday.

The Western Conference's number one seed, the Oklahoma City Thunder, controlled Game 1 at home thanks to MVP runner-up Shai Gilgeous Alexander's 29-point, 9-assist, 9-rebound performance. Mavs star Luka Doncic struggled and only converted one of his eight three-pointers that evening.

With the loss in Game 1, the Mavericks were 0-5 in Game 1 under coach Jason Kidd. The group led by Doncic and Irving will be hoping to repeat what they did against the Clippers by winning Game 2 after a poor performance in the opener.
